Andrew Pass, the founder of Pass-Ed, has been teaching for more than twenty years. He completed graduate education in Curriculum, Teaching and Educational Policy at Michigan State University. Andy has been developing curriculum, working as an instructional designer, and developing lessons plans for many years. His clients have included Pearson Education, Scholastic, Britannica, and others. Interestingly, Andy only became interested in educational technology after completing his graduate work. One day a client, at Oakland Intermediate School District in Michigan, invited him to attend a presentation by educational technologist David Warlick. An innovative thinker and writer, Mr. Warlick inspired Andy with his explanation of the power of Web 2.0 and Twenty First Century technology. Andy quickly realized that Web 2.0 could be used to develop innovative core curricular resources. Prior to beginning Pass-Ed, Andy acquired significant experience teaching graduate courses on educational technology and conducting professional development workshops. Andy is thrilled that Pass-Ed is now able to offer the highest quality curriculum resources built atop Web 2.0 technology. |
